Definitely eat before you go and try to bring some easy to eat snacks. That will help you keep from overeating. Then, to keep you from feeling deprived, pick your favorite food and have it. If it makes sense, share with someone. That way, you get the taste, but not all of the calories.
The fair/festivals have always been bad for me. I use them as an excuse to eat!
The choices you make today will determine the path that your life will take.
