I've lost 13lbs since I started back up with SparkPeople (though a huge drop the first week was probably due to drinking more water and watching my salt). I have been doing the Swimsuit bootcamp since I discovered it about 5 weeks ago. It has helped me keep focussed on daily exercise and on strength training. There are other 10 minute fitness videos on Sparkpeople - a good source for those extra 10 minutes of activity we were just asked to add in Stage 2.
Acrummy, I'm just about where you are. I've lost five pounds and an inch here or there. I've been working out fairly hard and I track everything, but I mat under estimate quantity sometimes? We've also had very muggy weather every time I've weighed in for the last several weeks. I keep hoping that I am developing some muscle and the weight loss will finally start showing up. I was down .4 of a pound this week.
Success consists of getting up once oftener than you fall down. ANON.
Sounds like everyone has lost inches!!! I have had a slow go, I've lost 5 pounds since we started and 1 inch off the hips. this week i've tried to refocus on measuring the food and daily cardio.(I wasn't consistent on the cardio) I find that sparks is a great site and very helpfull, but the best is talking to people who are feeling the same things and are experiencing the same ups and downs. Well, I've realized that when I started on here, I was just getting my head around eating better and just getting my body around the new active beginning.
I feel like I should be losing more weight, but, I have lost inches, which is the first step. My weight yo-yos by about 4-5 pounds during the week. I need to get off the scale and ONLY weigh in one day a week or two days a month. I feel better. Thats the good thing.

I am doing pretty g0od! I have lost 10 lbs.. I didn't take measurements until about two weeks in, but I have lost an inch or so off of my waist and from around my chest.. The exercise is going great, and I have been really consistent about tracking my food... I will have to say that SP is working really well for me!
I've been a member of this group since i joined Sp about 5 weeks ago, but i've only just discovered that i wasn't getting notifications of new message board posts. So i ticked all the little boxes in my preferences and here i am.
I have lost 2 kg so far (about 4.4lbs), 4cm aroud my waist, 2cm around my hips and 1/2cm around my neck. (i think an inch is about 2.5cm)
I've done pretty good. I've been exercising more consistently than I have in a long time. I've been drinking lots of water, but my eating could be better - just something that I need to work on. I haven't been eating out as much. I've lost a couple of inches - my clothes are fitting better, but I went to measure for my weigh in on Saturday, but I can't find my measure tape so I don't have accurate numbers. I've lost almost 10 pounds.
