Yes! I had my thyroid tested and that wasn't the problem. I had problems with my period, excess body hair, and was overweight. Although I was never told specifically, I've always suspected that I had or have PCOS. OH yeah! Forgot to mention I had an ovarian cyst that necessitated having an ovary removed before I was married. It's only been in the past year, with a pretty restricted diet that I was able to lose weight. As soon as I stopped being careful, I regained the weight. Now with counting calories and doing my exercising I am seeing some results, but it is slow.

Success consists of getting up once oftener than you fall down. ANON.
I have been so frustrated following the meal plan, getting the exercise in and the scale not moving nor the inches comming off. I started to investigate why?? Thought it could have been thyroid problems so I went to a homeopathic doctor and WOW! He was amazing, seemed to understand how I was feeling and went back to emotional triggers from birth. He believes my hormones are all out of whack and has started me on a plan to get them right again. He said this was a big reason that I am obese and not able to lose anything. I feel so much better that he actually listened and asked questions, rather than a MD who never seems to have time for their patiants and says "take this pill". I have hope now and don't feel so depressed.
Has anyone else had luck with natural medicine or had the same trouble trying to lose with no results???
