I try and drink 6-10 cups of water a day. I used to get heartburn and an upset tummy in the evenings and as soon as I kicked the diet cola habit it disappeared. The carbonation and acid in the diet cola was tearing up my tummy and I didnt even realize it. Yeah for water!

when I first started loosing weight in 2002, I gave up sodas and fruit juices and took up water; it really gave my healthier lifestyle a boost. Now, all I drink (except for the occasional smoothie and cranberry juice) is water. I normally drink ~128 oz/day (I just keep my bottle filled)

Water is so awesome! I am such a morning coffee person and I'm shocked at how good one glass of water makes me feel in the morning. I keep my exercise water bottle with me in the car as I run errands as well. It helps to keep me from snacking. No more starbucks for me or the kids. The kids love those horrible frappacino's which pack on the high fructose.

WOW!! 14 cups a day. That is huge!! I am drinking about 8 cups a day. I try to drink 4 during the day before I work out. Then I find I guzzle three-four cups after working out in the evening. If I am not at exactly 8 I am pretty close.

I would try to find a grocery store and get some bottles of water. I would ask the hotel for some ice, especially if it is a fancy hotel - they should be really good at customer service. I've been doing good on drinking water. I'm averaging about 14 cups per day.
Anyone else working on drinking water this week? This is one that I have already been doing well but not perfect. I am at a conference in Arizona until Thursday. It is a very fancy hotel that must give cheap conference rates during 110 days in July...work is paying for most of it. I'm having trouble finding water! The faucet is warm, the hotel is so fancy there are no ice machines. There are nice little bottles of water in the fridge in the room but they charge $4.50 if you drink them! My mission for today is to find water! I assume there will be plenty during the conference but I need to find some for morning/evening.
