I love the steeped green tea too, but I have heard that it is high in caffeine. White tea is suppose to be the purest of teas (not processed), low in caffeine and high in antioxidents.

I'll have to try that one too! I have NO plans on giving up my coffee! I drink 2 cups a morning and i love it...i'm not giving it up. my guilty pleasure is the caramel vanilla creamer..yummy. I was not able to get to the store tonight so no green tea for me tonight. I was reading though to get all the benefits i have to brew it hot....should i not get the bottled kind at all?

One time.. call me crazy.. I STOPPED DRINKING COFFEE FOR 3 WEEKS.. and drank green tea.. steeped, from the bag. I loved it. I peed A LOT, but after a week I felt really normal. I did go back to my coffee (COFFEE!) but only two cups a day. I still drink green tea quite a bit.. For an iced version, I make it the way I normally would and then pore it over ice. Yummy. Good for you. Try it!

Wow, that is a lot of calories for a green tea drink! I usually drink the Snapple diet green tea or the Lipton diet green tea. I never drink the regular of these anymore because of the sugar content in them and in soda. I like the Stash Green Teas. They have some in flavors and they are very good. Those you sweeten on your own or not at all.

I haven't tried the regular (come in a box) green tea yet. I actually had to give up Lipton's Green Tea with Citrus because they don't tell you that one little bottle is actually 2 servings and you get twice the calories. I'm guessing a lot of that has to do with the sugar.

Something tells me though, that drinking the regular/box green tea every once in awhile is a good idea. I have heard that you need to limit your green tea intake per day to something like 1 or 2 glasses because it is a diuretic.

I have heard alot of stuff about green tea and I was wondering if anyone has any advise as to which brand is the best (taste wise). I am drinking a bottle of Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale right now and it is pretty good...just a bit high on the calorie side (230 for the bottle). has anyone seen any results from drinking green tea?
