Thanks for the support. I have felt uncomfterble in my clothes and body for a while and wanted to do something about it but didn't really know where to start. Then I heard about SP and this has helped me alot so far eventhough it is only the beggining. I feel confident in knowing I am not doing this alone.

I want to say thanks too, for the encouragement. It's nice to know I'm not the only one struggling. It's much easier to keep track of everthing and to "get back on track" when we may fall a little. Thanks Shanon and Paul!

thanks so much for spear-heading this team. I've only been on this site for a week, but the encouragement and tips here are irreplaceable and much appreciated. I know my 1.8 pound loss from last week is partly (at least) due to this site and all the supportive people here!

I agree with Paul! We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited that so many new Sparkers have arrived this week! It's AMAZING how many of you have joined....I think we have one of the largest classes ever! The wonderful thing about that is....look how many 'family members' you have to lean on for support and encouragement!! Sweet huh?
I want to wish you the very best on your journey to health. Be patient with yourself. Be persistent. Make healthy food choices. Exercise in some form or another every day and before you know it, you will see your ticker start to move.
Feel good about who you are and what you are doing. Get ready to learn a lot about yourself and the people around you. Be prepared to have to makes some decisions on who you choose as your support network. You may be surprised by what learn/choose. Get ready for the most amazing ride of your life!!

When I agreed to be a Spark team leader, I never in my life imagined that I would be accepting 14,000 people into the Spark family!! I and my co-leader Shannon (shannoninaz) are very happy we accepted the challnege, and we welcome all of you with open arms! We will do out best to help out and answer any questions we can (just be patient with us though, we just gave birth to 14,000 kids LOL)
As you may have noticed, there are a few threads we have created to help you on your journey to a new lifestyle.... The Motivational quote of the day is there to give words of encouragement to help you stay built up and focused. I will do my best to post one every day.... the Daily challenge thread is there as a tool to help you on your daily focus, I will try to keep up with that too, unless someone would like to volunteer to head that one..... The I'm great today becasue thread is there for everybody to post why they are great on a daily basis... and the weekly weigh in thread is there for all of us to post our weekly weight accomplishments but also if you have a bad week tell us so we can try to encourage you to keep up the fight.
