Hello everyone,
Well 2010 was a decent year for me when it comes to weight loss. I have hypothyroid so it is always a struggle to lose an ounce!!! I have been with this team for 3 yrs now and only lost 34 lbs. The funny thing is, I was stuck in the most horrible plateau I have ever had...it took me 9 mths to break the stupid thing and it didn't matter what I did...it wouldn't budge!!! Well...that all changed in November 2010....I just started losing...so I am proudly able to say I lost 16 of the 34 last year!!!
The goals I have set for myself for 2011..are lose another 20-30 lbs (thyroid allowing) Do more things I love that I haven't done because I was out of shape and literally almost died trying...hahaha..don't really have that problem anymore and love it!!! And only spend a couple hours a day on SP...it is amazing that it takes all day to do everything and how am I supposed to be active if I am stuck in here all day????

I agree about spending way too much time on SP. But then, I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands. I get up and walk the halls several times a day for exercise.

I have 4 goals for January...
1. I am double dipping and going to Weight Watchers to reconnect with reading labels and staying focused. I need to get that edge back after the holidays.
2. I joined the 28 day boot camp challenge again to again liven things up for me.
3. I am going to work hard to get my daily 6+ hours of sleep in.
4. I will guarantee myself 4 hours a week for writing on my National Boards renewal activity that is due in April. This is a big (and expensive project that I worked so hard to achieve in the first place that I cannot let it just fall away now.)

I revise my goals each month--but I am really needing to kick things into gear now. I had a shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago and I realized that comfort eating as I healed was not going to help me in the big picture.

Believe it or not, this year I have decided to log into SP less. I find I spend too much time trying to get points, and not enough getting out there and doing things! I think the site is great, it's just that I spend way too much time sitting at a computer at work already. So here's to moving more!

Now that 2010 is behind us what will you be changing in 2011. I would like to have more discipline with my logging what I have been eating. I am not that bad but there is always room for improvement.
