Let's get going again together. I haven't posted in almost a 9 months. I was doing great, then ended up with medical problems and had surgery in April. Since then I have done almost nothing right health wise. I had previously lost 20ish pounds. They're all back...but, last week I started again. I'm using the meal plans this time and they're great and very sensible. Down 3 pounds last week...mostly water weight I'm sure but enough to motivate me. Good luck Becky, you can do this!!!
The richness of the human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome!
I understand Becky because I just did the same. Almost reached goal and lost all motivation and slowly lost all control. But now I am back. Done is done, but you can be proud because you found the will to come back and work on it again. I'm sorry I have not been there for you and that I reply so late. I hope you're doing wonderful.
This Ticker is my Healthy Weight Range... I strive to reach and stay in the middle of it, between 60 and 59.5 kg.
You're not the only one Becky! I say that because I think I understand what you are going through. I also lost pounds and then gained a little back. It is hard for me because I keep tying my happiness to my weight which is the last thing I should do, but I think it is just the way I am wired.
I do know that my best success seem to come when I am engaged with a good support network -- so if you wanna network, let's! Let's move forward. There is more i'd love to write, but my two year old is calling....
I just went to your Spark page and you have really done amazing things! I hope you have patted yourself on the back for the weight you have lost.
I know the lousy feeling, too, of regaining lost weight. I've only done that a million times (it feels like). However, the last time I lost weight, I didn't gain all of it back and the same is true for you so I think we should be happy about that!
It looks like you are on some great teams. I hope you seek support from those teams as well as here. I think you can even post on the community boards about what is going on with you.
I don't have any magic words of encouragement except to offer you my support and tell you that I can empathize with what you are going through.
I do think it is wonderful that out of all the weight you have lost (even though you want to lose more), you have not regained more than you have. Seeing it now, before it becomes a bigger gain, is wonderful! I think you are catching the "trend" early!

I joined Spark People many months ago and lost 40 pounds. Well, then came the camping, then came the family get togethers, then came the fair, then came the medicine changes and now I am up 8 pounds. I am very, very discouraged. I have been avoiding Spark People due to the fact that I just feel like there is no hope in losing it again. Finally today, I decided I was going to log in again. I was going to write and ask for help. I want to get this 8 pounds back off and get going again. I was doing so good and then with the summer I just got off track. ANY encouraging words would be great. If you have gone through this or just have advice please write. Thanks! Becky
