I'll have to try that. I've just been using a bucket to rinse when I'm done. :) Thanks for the tips.

Pour dawn dish soap all over it and let it set then spray it with a high powered nozzle.

I've done that three times now, but the oil keeps reappearing. I'm getting tired of scrubbing concrete (and I'm sure the neighbors are starting to wonder).

Would you believe that as I was brining the olive oil home to make these, I dropped the bottle by the back door & it shattered. I now have oil everywhere! LOL. Any suggestions on how to get it out of concrete?

Krissy, there are awesome recipes in that magazine! I've made soooo many things from it and haven't been dissapointed yet. Tonight I'm actually making a recipe from it, it's Salmon with Creamy Lime Dressing....so far it smells really really good!!! You guys can go on to their website www.shape.com and find recipes on there, I highly recomend it!

Wow! That's a great idea. I've got some chickpeas at home that have a northwoods barbeque rub (without sugar) witten all over them. Thanks so much.

I wouldn't really say that they're better than popcorn. I do LOVE popcorn, but they definately pack more nutritional punch. I'm excited to try a new batch so I can experiment with different herbs and spices! I'd say that these are a very good substitute for potato chips.

K guys, I just tried this out and I must say I have a favourite new snack. It's called "MOCK DEEP FRIED CHICK PEAS". I found the recipe in an old copy of my Shape magazine. All you do is take a can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans rinse them and pat them dry, then spread them out on a baking sheet and bake them in a preheated oven at 450 for 30-40 minutes (depends on how hot your oven is, just bake them till they're a nice brown). Make sure you shake the pan a couple times while they roast (but watch your hand, I burnt mine, lol). After their done then put them in a deep bowl, drizzle about 2-3 tsps of olive oil over them (mix them up to make sure they're all coated), then season them, I tried garlic powder, oregano and paprika. THEY ARE AWESOME!!! Full of protein and fibre. They're super crunchy and satisfying. HAPPY SNACKING EVERYONE!!!! emoticon
