I have a heart rate monitor the Polar ft60 I love it, it has the chest strap. I use that to track what I burn for my cardio. I also found that sparks was a bit high or in some exercises to low for my body type.

Thanks for the information - I was able to find KB listed under cardio, it shows 300 calories burned for 15 minutes, so that's what I've been using. When I input my elliptical time, it does show a different calorie burn, so I guess somewhere inside SP fitness tracker, they've accounted for it :-). Thanks again.

Hi everyone, I've been trying to figure out my calorie burns for my workouts, I do the kettlebells and elliptical cardio. If I take what SP shows as a calorie burn, there's a nice difference between the two activities but if I use my heart rate monitor watch type of thing I have, it shows no difference in calorie burn for the two workouts. Although SP seems a bit high in it's calculations. Anyway, am I right in thinking there should be a difference in calorie burns? Anytime you add weight to your cardio, you're gonna burn more calories? I appreciate any input. I thought my fancy shmancy heart rate watch was gonna tell me everything but not so much emoticon
