Thanks so much for your honesty. I THOUGHT they seemed a little oddly shaped but it's nice to get that verification.

My best & thanks again - Nikki

I bought an adjustable kettlebell when I first got into kettlebells, and I hate it. The weight is awkward, the plates move around, and when you remove the plates, the corners of the remaining plates are sharp against your forearm on cleans and snatches. I would not recommend one.

The more I've thought about it, the more I'm with you guys. Adding to it, they look so awkward. In fairness I haven't used them but ....

Thanks for the input. Nikki

First off, I use different sizes for different exercises. I don't want to have to mess with .changing out the kb itself in between exercises.

Also from what I've seen, the one with plates only goes up to I think 25 lb. So it's maximum weight is my minimum weight and used only for overhead stuff.

The ones that you add sand/shot to can be made heavier but you've still got the hassle of changing it out.

I don't see the benefit of adjustable bells at all myself. :o)

Swing Like You Mean It- RKC Style

Currently swinging either a single 55 lb. or two 25 lb'ers.

Love it -- You know, I checked out the adjustable but the weight seemed sort of....hmmmm....off. I don't know. To each his own I guess.

My husband saw them and thought they'd be great but I don't know...

Hey gang,

Happy Friday!

I'm just wondering if anyone here has used adjustable kettlebells? I have seen them a few places but wasn't sure if they would be as good as "regular" ones.

I'd love to hear any thoughts!

Thanks so much Nikki
