√ 3) Curves. [Delivery was late, and I got there late, and they kicked me off the machines before I completed my second circuit. :-( ]

Thanks CA - it was a partial-family gathering at DD1's - this year DD2 went to Mexico with friends instead of trekking down to South Africa

Sheila - Merry Christmas to you!! Just a regular working day in Japan. Some years I've had to teach on Christmas!

√ 1) Wash clothes.
√ 2) Print more New Year's cards - finally got the printer working. Now to address them and buy stamps, but they're all going to be late anyway.
√ 3) Shoveling snow - maybe it will stop by evening? [Neighbors shoveled snow for me!]
√ 4) Boxing Day party at friend's. With Beethoven finished early this year, I can actually have a social life!

√ BONUS: Called to have fuel delivery on Friday.

√ 4) Take it easy - it's a holiday and I'm on vacation, after all! (But may try again to print out New Year's cards. Don't know what I'll do if I can't.)

Shovel snow - but not really necessary since there were only a few centimeters, and that plus vacuuming might too much for my carpal tunnel syndrome.

Me, too, CA - the little ones are cute - gorgeous fur/skin, but mind out for those teeth and claws! (If it had been a big one, I would have left it and scooped it out next week)

Thursday 13 December

- Breakfast and the usual handful of Vitamins etc., plus anti-biotics and painkillers
- Out for the day with gym instructor - walk a bit - car to wine and olive tasting
- Walk back to car - and then to restaurant at another vineyard
- Prepare and share dinner with student when she gets home from Carols by Candlelight

I had to chuckle at that little mole, Sheila!

√ 1) Kerosene delivery (vacuum a little beforehand).
√ 2) Teach / teach (discuss hypothetical trip to Kushiro, Akan and Teshikaga [parts of Hokkaido] in prep for job Saturday a.m.).
√ 3) Wash clothes.
√ 4) Shovel snow - has to be evening when not as many people are walking past.

Getting restless - but I know my limitations - infection sloshing around my system

- Drug Store for vitamins etc
- Mini supermarket trip

Thanks CA - antibiotics are doing their job - and so are the painkillers! I managed a one mile round-trip walk to shops and gym (to show that I am alive, after all!) It was slow, but I'm counting it as fitness minutes :)

- BFF is coming to chill, and lunch
- Rest, Ice, Elevation
- Heal

CA - I would rather use the gym pool - it's warmer!
I really found out that I have a lot of friends - so many FB messages, texts and phone calls. BFF who is here from the UK brought me lunch instead of us going out - lovely Swiss Student answered house phone, went to get painkillers, and then ate out so I didn't have to cook - Awwwww

Errrmmm - cancel that!

- Laundry
- Little bit of tidying in the garden, oops slipped and fell into pool, sliced knee and elbow on brick paving - off to ER for 5 stitches, Xrays, Tetanus shot etc
- Neighbour took me to and from ER - home 3hours later - have the coffee I never got to make
- Laundry - wash the clothes that went into the pool - oh no - Jeans have a tear - declutter! Wonder if my Reebok trainers will survive this dunking.

Taking it easy on this snowy morning because I need to preserve my energy for the concerts on Saturday/Sunday. If I accomplish something, great! If it's simply a quiet morning with my cats, that's also great!

1) Teach private class (get room ready beforehand plus TED talk, if can find the one I wanted to show).
2) Teach private evening class (look for new articles to copy and distribute before next class, last of the year).

Every day make a "to-do list." A Microsoft CEO shared with his employees his secret to success. He said every day he'd make a to-do list topped with 4 things that he REALLY wanted to get done. Then he'd throw away the rest of the list. If Microsoft's CEO can accomplish only 4 things in a day, what makes you any different?
