Thanks Cheri! :D

Here are a few more.

Another 8x8 from the scenery album. I really love the cartridges from Creative Memory for the border maker system. I'm getting a new one (as there was a recent sale) next week - flower border. It's fun to mix and match up the different borders. This border is using the lace punch from CM. (that I received for signing up).

Another 12x12 - using the border system to create the page.

Simple page (12x12). The top is a border sticker and the bottom is grass border (from the border system). The grass border is versatile as we've created ice, water and grass from the same cartridge, depending on the paper used.

With this one (12x12), I used a straight cutter to slice the photos, then I put them back together. It gives the page a bit of a different look. What I didn't realize until after I was done, was that I had sliced between my bff and her (now ex) husband.......unconscious symbolism. hahaha!

This is an example of how I scrapbooked my Brownie and Girl Guide memories. I also added journal pages from Brownies, on another page, that made me laugh. Such as: I learned to braid today. I cleaned Sweet Pea's cage, gave him new water and food. (my budgie) Good memories.

This is a 8x8 page. I have completed the album with scenery pictures from all over.

:)

I am going to another scrapbooking event next weekend - same place. Good way for me to get my scrapbooking done. I will remember though to get up and go for a walk, as last time I could barely move by the end of the day.

I tried something new. I cut up a picture, then put it back together like a puzzle. I've only used straight lines (so far) but it gives the photo a different look. I glue it onto background paper, then onto the actual scrapbook paper. I cut angle lines. What I didn't realize until it was done, was how I cut up a photo of my bff and her (ex) husband at the beach - which was taken back when they were married. I sliced 3 lines between them, then put it back together - even my mum laughed when she saw it. Totally unconscious but works!

Well, Etc. didn't last long. They stopped publishing and took down their web site several months ago. I love Better Homes and Gardens, but I mostly interest in Etc. *Sigh* I seem to be a scrapbooking magazine killer!

It has been several years since I've done any scrapping at all. For Christmas, Bob got me a subscription to Scrapbooks, etc. I used to love Simple Scrapbooks and was very sad when it was discontinued. I tried Making Memories and Creative Keepsakes, too. I just seemed to get the most from Simple. This new one is good too. I like how it has sketches to help me with ideas. For journaling, I have done both ways - hand written and computer lettering. I have done very little stamping on pages.

I would love to ask some more questions, but I'm not sure where they should go. For instance, favorite company for supplies, die cut machines, on-line sites and blogs, etc.

Hi. I'm new here and am fulfulling one of my stage 3 action steps by joining a new team! Glad to be here. I also have to make five posts, so I'm checking out all the Scrappers with Spark threads...

I save all my scrapbooking for 3 or 4 marathon weekends a year at my local scrapbook store in Carson City, NV..."The County Purr Farm."

In the interim, I compile, scan and organize the photos and embelishments I want to work on. My next marathon won't be until January and I will be working on an album for my niece who will be turning 16 next year.

I also spend my interim time doing lots of knitting and crocheting...juggling projects is lots of fun.

Sounds really pretty, I forget to use my photo corners. I realized I don't always have to scan, I can take digital images of the pages too.

After communicating with HIKETOHEIGHTS I went and looked at my last scrapbooks. They were from our trip to Disney in May 2007. They are almost done (4 years later) mainly the journaling left. As today is a Holiday in Canada, I have taken then out and will start working on the finishing touches.

This past weekend I went to a crop at Archiver's with some friends and made three cards and started my Disneyland scrapbook. It really got me in the creative mode and I'm looking forward to the next time I can pull out my scrapping stuff again.
