I stopped my strength training workout due to nausea I laid on my mat and did simple breath meditation which helps the nausea pass.

Mindful Meditation unguided outside as I am gardening this is my favorite.
This evening I will go out to my chair in the back yard do to Loving Kindness my second favorite meditation.

I meditated for 5 minutes by lying on my back with the lights on. Breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth saying to my self "good air in bad air out". I could really start to feel my body relax.

I meditated for 5 minutes by lying on my stomach in a dark room listening to the ticking of the clock. Breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth saying to my self "good air in bad air out". It helped me to think of a phrase to concentrate on to take my mind off of wondering thoughts.

I use guided meditations and simple breath meditation along with some mantra meditation. I always lie in corpse position with a rolled up towel under my neck. I have a lot of issues with pain and this helps. If its mantra meditation I burn sage. I like to burn candles too during breath and loving kindness. For body scans or pain meditation its just simple no stimuli. For breath meditations I like to use music also.

Hi Carrie- It is difficult to explain- I have been working at it.
Let's see if I can try-

First I make sure I clean my aura (I envision whote Divine light coming down and raining on me removing any toxins and chaotic or vampire energies) then

I sit. In breathe and focus on taking my grounding cord and bringing it to the center of the earth to GROUND ME- as I can be very naturally hyper, passionate and rather unfocused

I do say a few lines that were given to me by my therapist/ Teacher

Then I open my chakras- again through imagery- cleansing them and adorning them with light and love- I pay attenrtion to what feels blocked or wounded and breathe into that.

The affirmations are related to whatever I am struggling with- or feel like I need more clarity - could be
" I communicate clearly, effectively, passionately and professionally" (I used that one today since I had to speak in front of lots of folks!)

As I been learning about Mediation I have learned different ways that it can be done. Some of the ways that I have how to Meditate are through walking, quietly, laying down, sitting up or using candles and or music and sounds. So far I have used sounds and laying down to Meditate.
