I am only 5'3.5", but I've always been built sort of solid, if that makes sense. Lately though, I've just been eating whatever I want and seeing the scales go up again. I need to get back on track before all my hard work is undone.

Teresa, there is such a thing as a natural, healthy weight for people. How tall are you anyway? I see you're in the 130's and that may be a in your healthy weight range anyway.

I'm there with you, Bonnie. Making lots of healthy choices but the scales aren't moving.

I haven't lost an ounce in weeks. I don't plan to go back to my old ways, but it would nice if the scales would budge. Is there such a thing as reaching a certain weight where your body is intended to be and staying there?

You are doing great! Remember not to be disappointed if you don't lose that much every week. Losing too quickly will result in hanging skin. It's best to do 2lbs a week. I've done 1.5 lbs and am doing great.
Sometimes I wish it would all come off quick but I know it'll just come back on that quickly as well.

Sorry about your gain but just keep on doing the right things and it WILL come off. I've been at a standstill for a couple of weeks but I do know that I've not been getting in my workouts like I need.

How's it going?
I managed to get my lower body workout in last night but not until around 9:30! I was working on landscaping.
I have some new pics of flowers and such on my sparkpage if anyone is interested.
Today, I hope to tackle some home improvement. I am going to start stomping a ceiling. This is fairly new to me so I hope it works out good.

Chel, have you thought that it may not be the dairy as much as the salt in the cheese? Sometimes when I have salty things, I have to drink more water to reduce the water retention.
Well, I hadn't officially weighted in since I thought I had lost that 5 lbs. Turned out it was a malfunction of the scales. I have now lost that 5 lbs and one more today to put me at 136 so I am very happy. I'm still maintaining the 1.5 lbs a week.
I think I am going to be going to a once a month weigh in after that TOM. I think my hormones are fluctuating and it's too much of a roller coaster.

My weight is up to 206.6 this morning. That's up 2# from my lowest, but it could be going on TTotM, and I have been allowing myslf foods I normally don't eat. Dairy makes me gain weight overnight. I had cheese here and there this week from pizza and last nights mexican.

Alright ladies, I formally retract my former message about the gardening not paying off. Apparently I was just retaining water or something as today I am down 5 lbs!!! I can't believe it. I have never lost 5 lbs at one time, not even in the beginning. So, the moral of the story, stick with it even when you don't see results and they will come in due time!

With the long holiday weekend, you can bet believe it'll be a Wed. weigh in next week!
I'm planning on being good though. I'm getting a lot of melon and strawberries and corn on the cob. I even picked up Boca italian sausages. Only 130 calories a piece.

congrats on the loss. I know all about the slow moving. I had to slow down on exercise because of migraines, but I'm trying to jumpstart my system now. Not changing my calories (as is I'm staying hungry), but trying to increase fruits & vegetables, and increasing my exercise.

I have been the same for 2 weeks now but I think it's because my workouts are not strenuous enough. I've been doing a lot of gardening and using it for workouts and I don't think I'm burning as many calories as they say. This week I have walked 3 miles so I should do better. I haven't gotten any strength training in so I'm going to do a tai bo tomorrow morning. I'm unsure of working with the weight when I'm sore from gardening.
Well, we'll see what happens.

I agree being a women is tough on the weigh loss. Men definately have it easier in terms of losing. Hang in there it will come off. Don't let it throw you.

I'm with you with Mother's Day and needing a Wednesday weigh-in. I took one day off exercise and had one dessert on Saturday, otherwise following my eating plan. I weighed in this morning and I have gained back 4 pounds since Saturday morning. My hubby did the same and didn't gain an ounce. I just love being a woman!

Oh, ummm, yeah, I guess that might seem a little strange to someone who didn't know that I'm a Wedding Planner. LOL

I personally have been married only once (and divorced) and am currently in a long-term (7 years) committed relationship, but marriage is not an option, unfortunately.

So, no, its not ME that's getting married twice in as many weekd, but my clients. LOL

I've found the 'magic solution' to weight loss - STRESS! LOL

In less than two weeks I have my first wedding and the next just two weeks later. I'm only getting about 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night and I'm so busy I'm "forgetting" to eat until its too late. (Can't eat too late with GERD! talk about losing sleep then)

I'm thinking that the new exercise plan will allow me to sleep more, or at least more fully when I do sleep.

I like the idea of time to recover from weekend "mistakes". LOL Great idea Tina!

Today I'm 206.8 lbs. That's about 5 lbs less than my last weigh in in April.

I love Wednesday weigh in's. It gives the body time to adjust from the weekend laziness that tends to haunt most people

so anyway... I've lost 1.5 pounds since last Wednesday, bringing me down to 232.5
