I found my doctor at http://www.thyroid-info.com/topdrs/index.h
tm. He's a naturopath. I originally went to him for thyroid, but we have tried some bioidentical hormones too.

You might check out this link. My doctor (I'm in Texas) shows up on this website and I know these doctors all use HRT. There are only three doctors listed in Ohio but maybe one of them is fairly close to you. Good Luck!

I guess everyone else out there has been lucky with the doctor thing! I'm still trying to find a competent doctor to treat thyroid imbalance, hormonal imbalance, and adrenal fatigue...

My Endo appointment is Tuesday and I hope that this doctor can help me. Because my TSH and T3 are so low I did a little research and I might have hypopituitarism... I have seizures and the constant blows to the head when having the seizures can cause damage to the pituitary. If the pituitary isn't functioning, then all of your hormones will be out of balance...heavy sigh!

Anyone else out there have a difficult time finding a doctor to prescribe BHRT. I live in Ohio and it is difficult. The one I am seeing currently I have to pay out of pocket for, alternative but also OBGYN, and she is trying to get me to do all of these other practices like acupuncture, supplements, and something called "time out" classes. I just want the BHRT so we'll see what she says at my next visit in late January...
