did ok with mindful eating at work. was going to get a danish, buy the vender was out od the kind i like, not really a willpower victory, but on the otherhand i did not give up and get something i did not really want. i ate my fruits instead.

my brain had been in overdrive. i plan to much but don't follow through- some of it is fear or weakness of some kind. i keep waiting for change, but i think i need to put in energy and work to get the ball rolling

I have had very good results by eating fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, and beans, lentils. I had to give up grains because they were spiking my blood sugar, as well as sweet potatoes and the high glycemic fruit. I can still eat berries, including strawberries, my favorite fruit. I do eat farm fresh eggs, but no meat and dairy. My blood sugar has lowered so much so that I have not had to take any insulin for the last three days. My lab wrok shows all my levels in normal range. Some are at the high end of the normal range, but that will change in time.

I attended a concert at Armstrong Auditoriu, in OK tonight. It was a string quartet. It was very good.

Not feeling to positive right now, not having any good results with my weight loss and I've been doing this for a month, but I decided to give Nutrisystem a try but I'm going to continue to track on SP...hope I get better results than trying it on my own!

Someone said they felt like their life was a baseball. I heard some information that excited me to warm up my pitching arm, only to have the "coach" say they aren't looking for more pitchers. I feel like i do too much bench warming, but i am ready to get in the game. If i strike out, so be it. but i want to start playing.

By the way, fresh vegetables all have natural sodium and are better for you than canned processed vegetables - and taste better.

I went shopping for groceries at Sunflower Markets. They haave a wide variety of greens and vegetables and fruits. Most are organic. then I went to WalMart and then home. Then I had to try to find a ride to my chiropractor appointment tomorrow - I finally did.

I started another crocheted scarf for one of my granddaughters. I will eventurally add a cap and mittens for her and her mother.

Did very well today with exercise. I've been having trouble with eating enough calories. Since I've cut down on my sodium, I've had to cut out a lot of canned stuff. Hope everyone had a beautiful day! Lots of love

Hope you had no incidents at your fire drill. I went shopping andam home to do house cleaning and projects and trying to find a ride to the Drs office tomorrow. Sooner Ride wpi;d tale me if I have Medicaid and Medicare - not old enough for Medicare yet, so have to find someone else who is not working to do it

Pretty good day. i do well with my mindful eating at work. not so great at home. that will be my next thing to work on. i do not have my mindful eating ate work mastered yet, but i know the overeating is the biggest issue to my weight loss and gain.

Since I am vision impaired, I do my walks inside every day I walk. If it is raining outside or snowing as it was yesterday - doesn't bother me. I have already gotten my walk inside done today. It is harder physically for me to do a walk late in the evening. I get tired too quickly and may have to divide it up. But this morning, I listened to a class I am taking on the computer and walked while listening. The only bad thing about walking inside is the surroundings are always the same - will have to do something about that. Otherwise I am getting a bit of crochet in and cleaning house today.

a low energy weekend, but i did get some good sleep, and i finished a few tings. weight loss does not seem to be happening. Last time i did 30 DS i lost 5 lbs in the first week. i have been gaining weight this time. yes i am overeating, but i figured the up in intensity would be make a difference.

so this tells me- regardless of how much i exercise, it will not mean weight loss if i do not ear properly- Dang!

It is going to be our coldest night of the winter. We have had a mild winter so far. Down in the teens tonight. We have had seven straight weekends with 60-65 degrees. I will be going out to the p;ost office tomorrow morning, buy then will be home to work on my crocheting and start spring cleaning, getting ready for a Church garage sale in March.

Hubby's leg is starting to get better. the skin care center finally formally diagnosed it as a burn. so now we can treat it right. this week i had a new walking schedule at work. We have a program called walkfit. for a year and a half i had 2 hours a day to walk on a treadmill while doing my job. i would get 4 miles a day. this week they changed it so they cut us all down to 1 hour a day so now i can only get 2 miles (the floor is controlled at 2mph)

I am having a very good day, as well. For the first time my BGs were not over 138, but I had a set back. I didn't get to go to the Post Office to send my granddaughter's cap, mitten, and scarf out to her. I don't know when I will be able to do that, now. But my lab work has brought back wonderful results. Looks like I am in pretty good health overall.

I am changing my room around to move a big dresser and put a shelf unit in my room and out of the hallway. Getting ready to move my room to the back and the back room - my work room - to the front. A lot of work. Plus I need to get a package ready to mail tomorrow to my granddaughter. It is getting late. My printer i nk ran out and I tried to change it to one that is not the same brand and it is not accepting it and it is frustrating me. Been quite a day.

Visited with my medical doctor and got the results of my lab work. Everything is in normal range except my Ac and potassium. So I am feeling very good about that. I am glad I took my crochet with me because I had t wait for a ride to take me home for 1 1/2 hours.

Today was a gray day. people were crabby. i had yesterday off. it was great. today dragged a bit. a few people are worried that some reorgs are going to get them fired (not even the common curtsey of a a layoff.) basically standards have been changed and people were not told so we can't possibly do the job correctly or well.

Sunday morning I am an in-home operator for a TV program sponsored by the Church I do that until 12:00, then some Sundays i have a tea for ladies who want help with crochet or other craft. Today there are other activities going on so they won't be here today, so I have the day to myself. I can catch up on some projects I need to get done and I have several.

Good morning everyone:

Yep, finally Sunday. Sad that we wish our life away, but I couldn't wait to get to this day so I could pack and know that I am leaving tomorrow morning early. This will probably be my last day on SP until February 18 or 19. I will miss everyone of you. I promise to do all mys steps and some type of exercise every day. I will NOT deprive myself of any foods though including desserts. I figure as long as I walk, swim, dance, take aerobic classes, etc. I can indulge for the next two weeks.

I had bought a beautiful gown for this cruise last summer and was so scared that it wouldn't fit seeing that I was 3 lbs. heavier than I was this summer. Well, I tried it this morning and it fits better than it did this summer, WOOHOO. I'm so happy that I have done all this exercise and toned my body for this trip and my health.

Yesterday was fabulous. I left home at 8:15 a.m. and got back at 4:00 pm :) I had my waxing done, my 1 hour massage and then my hair. Decided to put even more blond streaks in it because I was going in the sun, hee hee. Had a good time with my hairdresser and ordered a pretty healthy lunch really.

I hope everyone has a great day, couple of weeks, stays on track, and keeps healthy. I will think of you all and will have pictures to post when I get back so you can live vicariously through them :) Have a wonderful serene Sunday.

Good afternoon. I tried to get on-line this morning but was unable to do so, so I went to the mall walked and then treated myself to lunch being careful of what I ate and then went to the grocery store and then home. I just finished cleaning the bathroom.

Good morning everyone:

Today, I start my spa day at 8:45 this morning. I am getting my waxing done, then a full body massage and then my hair coloured and trimmed. I love doing that before leaving on vacation in the winter. It seems to start my vacation on the right foot getting pampered and relaxed.

Good morning everyone:

I am home today. Plans are to do my virtual 5K walk for exercise this morning, do my laundry and catch up on some recorded tv episodes. Very relaxing really.

Morning team! Have a Happy Friday! I was not able to make it to Zumba, last night. :( Was sad about it; but I did realize something this week. When I'm not able to go to exercise class it make me :( and that I miss it. Didn't realize that it makes me happy. emoticon I am making some good habits. emoticon me!
