My success story today is that I baked 50+ cupcake without eating one or even licking the batter. Next up is icing and decorating, and I may need duck tape!

BE STRONG!!!! (Maybe I'll make a poster that says that for my kitchen.)

I made my January goal of getting more Fitness minutes than sparkpoints that month instead of the other way around. I liked it so made it my goal to do that for the first quarter of the year. I think I will just keep that as an ongoing goal as I need to focus on the fitness!

If you want to be happy, desire and pursue happiness more for others than yourself, and your own well-being will take care of itself. Dedicate your weight-loss journey and the achievement of all your goals to someone else and think of them when times get tough.

Way to Go!

I am so glad that you started this thread because I just got off my exercise bike (and most people on this team already know how I hate exercise), so I'm calling it a success. Yesterday was a good day with nutrition and exercise, so I'm making it the first day of a 7 day streak of great days. I'm up 15 lbs from my lowest weight last year, and I'm determined to get back to losing instead of gaining.

I needed a place to share this, and I am sure all of my FB friends are ready to kill me over how much I talk about exercise and weight loss, so I decided to make a topic where we can all share our daily/weekly/monthly/etc.. success stories

To start, I just weighed and measured in for the week/month and.....

3 pounds down!
1.5 inches off my waist!
1.5 inches off my hips!
and 1.75 inches off of my thighs!!

No inch loss off of my super problem area (my arms) but that just shows me what to focus more attention on. Super excited though! I may not make bikini season this year, but I plan to be in the best shape of my life by next summer! emoticon

And my Body by Vi (Visalus) shakes come in today! I can't wait to try them. I am using them for weight loss and I am mentally trying to train myself to eat healthier and basically eat to live instead of living to eat.
