So, what's your favourite place in China? When I'm asked that question I often find it really difficult to answer! Actually I really liked the Yellow Mountain in Zhejiang, and also a place here in Yunnan called the Earth Forest, it's like a mini Yellowstone, I loved it :-)
Excited to start Uni again, the holidays have been very long, I had a foot infection so didn't go anywhere...
My weekend classes are going fine, but I'm just covering for their usual teacher and it can be a bit tricky to win them over... just need a bit more time :-)
My Uni doesn't take us anywhere, I wish they would!
Are you steering clear of the Mooncakes? I am :-) But then I don't really like them anyway!
Have a great weekend :-)

The places we went in Fujian are beautiful, so it was a great trip. It was fun to get in a little sight-seeing in addition to our teacher training.

I hope your weekend classes go well. For us it will also be back to work on Tuesday - first day of class for university students! But, before that, I'll be attending a former student's wedding on Sunday, so it will be a busy weekend for me.

I'd love to see Fujian! How did you like it? I've never been but I lived in Taiwan for a while, and it's right across...
Here, rainy season is playing catch-up. I teach tonight and Sunday at my private school, and finally get back to business on Tuesday! 6am, all hands on deck :-)
Have a great week-end :-)

Just got back from a 3 day trip with all of the English teachers in our school. It was a profitable time in a beautiful location in Fujian - We went to the Volcano Geopark in / near Zhangzhou then went to Dongshan Island.

Anyway, I don't believe I have seen that vegetable, but it sounds interesting. I think they have many vegetables here that I don't see in the States.

Hi there, how is everybody?
All good? busy?
I've found this new veggie, I don't know if you've seen it. It looks like mini heads of broccoli, in a very dark shade of green. I cut them down the middle and stir-fry them, I really like them. But then I just love veggies anyway ;-)
Wishing you all a great day!

I think you have some good ideas. I am not actually sure how to post pictures if we would decide to do that, but I'm sure I could learn. We have the "drink water" goal, but it says "team goals have not been defined" and I am not sure what that means. I personally like the current goal of "walk instead of take a taxi." And, the virtual walk sounds interesting, though that is also something I've never done before. I think you have some great ideas, so maybe you can share them with the team leaders so they can make some changes.

Hi :-)
for a more active team I was thinking small steps, maybe like trying one new veggie a month or a week, posting a picture if we go somewhere nice, huddle or post here regularly... If any of you is into virtual walking, we could choose a destination and virtually walk there, to virtually meet :-)
We could refresh the team's goals, most teams go for "drinking water" or "posting once every xx"...
What do you think?
Have a great day!

Hey, an active team would be great! I am new to spark but have been in Xiamen, China for a year.

I think that would be great, though I'm not sure what an active team is like or does. I think maybe many of the members are no longer in China, so maybe that's why this isn't an active team.

Hello everybody,
I was just wondering if anybody would be interested in making our team a bit more "active"?
We don't even know who is still around emoticon ...
Have a good beginning of term!
