Yeah...photos...you can see how good I am at photos...I don't even have a photo of myself! HA!

Speaking of scaling down, I recently sold my Cricut and all 65 of my cartridges. Miss them like crazy, but in my efforts to change my lifestyle (less SITTING), I have been eliminating my craft room arsenal. Still have a boatload of stamps & everything else, but I can see my work desk, and that's a good sign.

You are absolutely right, Garrie1. I still seem to be in the acquisition stage, although I may have to stop since I am out of room, LOL. Or maybe just give away some old stuff to make room for the new!

We ought to start posting a photo now and then, what do you all thing??? Maybe just a random photo once every month or so??

Made a "friendship card" for a great couple who have been inspirational in my life. Used Stampin' Up! stamps, card stock, ink, and ribbon. As the years go by, I find my designs are becoming less cluttered and much more simple. When compared to other cards and memory book pages I've made, I honestly like the less cluttered ones better. I remember scrap and card-making challenges where we added so many embellishments that you couldn't decide what the focal point was. As a natural consequence, I find I'm not spending as much $$ on my projects, which can't be bad...right?

I still haven't found the right words for the inside of the Baptism card... But thinking on it. I am now working on cutting paper for the all day Friday workshop at my CTMH demo's house. I am doing the papers for 3 of us, as it is part of my gift to my BFFs. We don't do birthday or Christmas gifts (except for significant birthdays) but always do "goodie bags" when we get together. It is SO fun!!!

Patti, I so agree about stamping is WAY more fun than organizing the space. When my area (I do have a whole room) gets too out of order I will finally take a day and set things in place. That has to last for quite awhile before I do it again.

OK, if you could see my stamp room, you would know that I have absolutely no orgainzational skills! LOL! I have one teensy place for stamping and a table heaped with stuff, next to another big ttable heaped with stuff where I have ink carosels and my cutter... Someday, when I retire, I will get it all organized... but right now, I'd rather stamp when I get a chance than organize it!

Patti, your cards sound beautiful. Organization seems to be one of your strong points. People that don't stamp/make cards really don't understand all the steps in the progress. It is enjoyable to use our creativity and see the results. Have fun and learn lots at your stamping party.

I did get to play yesterday! I made the cutest birthday card for my going to be 2 great nephew, and made 2 Easter cards. I have a good head start on the rest of the Easter cards, too. I have bought a new "He is risen" stamp at the convention last month, and I found these great embossed cross "thickers" at Joanns. I cut out teensy flowers and adorned the crosses. Sadly there are only 10! But I did get all 10 ready to put onto cards, and found the right papers, so it will only take another hour or so to get the other 8 done. I already did 3 of the 4 kids cards, and part of the baby's card. Then just a few more friend cards. hope to get them all out by Friday... but will out of town on Wed & Thurs. with my BFFs. But will be at a stamping party with them, so will do some stamping (and some ordering, lol)

You are a good person to help your friend, and I know she appreciates it!!!

Not exactly stamping, rather cutting, scoring and taping together boxes for a friend. She broke her arm in a fall and this project of hers needs to be worked on. Know my scrapbooking and cards will wait for me.

Hey, a woman's got to do what a woman's got to do! I did mention it was a large tote bag, right? 4 sets of stamps, 8 other stamps, some specialty cards from Paper Cut, A couple of stencils, quite a few dies, several embossing folders. One embossing powder, A big roll of specialty tape for glitter & embossing. That's all I can remember right now... LOL

I exercised great control at the stamp convention, and only filled one large tote bag with purchases (I have been known to take a bag on wheels, and empty it once or twice into my trunk!) Yesterday I made a stair-step anniversary card for my sister and her DH - their anniversary is Valentine's day. My DH just took it to the mailbox, so hoping they get it on time (they are only about 50 miles away, so they SHOULD get it!)

I did get that card done, and then went to Ft. Myers to have girlriend time. There is an incredible stamp/art store there. The owner gives a demo on Wednesdays, so we try to get there in time for that. I always spend too much there... but she has things I don't find in Orlando, that's for sure. Plan to work on Valentines this weekend!
