So excited to read all of your postings and seeing that you are grabbing 2012 by its horn. Your goals are great ones. I totally wasted the month of January and gave in to POP. But starting yesterday I decided to get back on the horse daily and focus on what I can accomplish each new day.

I have some super exciting news to share with all of you. I do not know if you are aware that I had entered this video contest back in December, the Year of You video contest for the Biggest Loser Fitness Ridge Resort hoping to win 4 phenomenal weeks at the resort.... Guess What!!!

I MADE IT!!! I WON!!! I am one of the ten winners chosen to spend 4 weeks at the resort focusing on me and learning what I can to have success on this journey. Although I cannot pack up and go today or this month. I am planning for late Spring early Summer but in the meantime I will be working my butt off till then hoping to not be as in bad shape when I go as I am right now. My reward for working hard now will be spending 4 weeks at the BL resort.

I am still in shock, overwhelmed, dazed.................... I wanted to share the good news with my fellow sparkers.

Keep working hard everyday because you all deserve to be healthy and fit. I believe in you, believe in yourself too.

Long-term Goal: To overcome my hesitation and stay focused long enough no matter what happens in my life.

Medium-Term Goal: Reaching my goal 5% at a time.

Short-Term Goal:
*Drink my water daily
*30 min Exercise (and work my way up) 4 times/wk

I am planning to track my food and exercise.
If I can track my food honestly for one day, I can do it for two. If I can do it for two, I can do it for a week. If I can do it for a week, I need to set myself a reward. Preferably not an edible one! Today is day 2, for me. 2 good days. I plan to have many more this year.

Love your goals. I hope you stay away from the scale. I couldn't unless it was taken from me. Maybe you could take it to a friend or family members house. Good luck!

Well, I have no one to hide my scale....but have decided to STOP weighing twice a day!
The problem with that, is I think I was not working harder when I would see my weight twice a day.

I joined the BL challenge to lose 19 pounds by the 15th. of May, the finale' of BL.

PLAN: NO scale, TRACKING on WW, strength training 20 minutes A DAY on my vigorfit,
and CARDIO at least 45 minutes a day.

WOO HOO!

I got Yes's e-mail and thought I would share my plans for 2012.

My plan this year is to track my food and get in at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. I plan to continue to meet with my dietitian each month.

Right before Christmas I had my husband hide our scale. I have allowed the scale to dictate my mood and felt the only way to stop that was to hide the scale. So far I am not missing it and look forward to my monthly weigh in with my dietitian to see how well I did.

I am working on two challenges. I joined the Spark 28 day challenge and enjoying it. This is my first week and met every days goals so far. I decided yesterday that I need to come up with a reward if I complete the challenge and I am thinking I will go get me a message when I complete it. Notice I said when and not if. No if's this year. :) The second challenge is with my Over-eater's Anonymous team where for the month I do not overeat. I have done great so far with this challenge and have met this goal 3 days in a row. :)

I am like Yes and do not do new year resolutions. I am looking forward to seeing where I go this year with my goals simply on eating right and exercising each day. No goal weight or size, just a healthy me. :)
