Awesome! My scales hasn't moved in two weeks, not sure why. I have been working at this every day, but I will not let that scale discourage me. If after a month nothing happens i'll have to call my doc to see what's the problem. Maybe its my thyroid. bummer!

Long-term Goal: To overcome my hesitation and stay focused long enough no matter what happens in my life.

Medium-Term Goal: Reaching my goal 5% at a time.

Short-Term Goal:
*Drink my water daily
*30 min Exercise (and work my way up) 4 times/wk

YESI, i got good news from the scale this morning, I am so happy. I guess what I need to learn from this is to be patient, and to live... one day at a time!

Hi Lolita,

Do not be discouraged. In many articles here on SP I have read that there are a lot of reasons why maybe the scale doesn't move at times. They also say to no only go by the scale to see improvement or changes, but to check measurements, energy levels............ 9 lbs. in a month is really good but some months may be better than others. This is a process and your body is probably going through changes and is adjusting. I'm attaching a few links for a 3 part SP articles on plateaus. You may find info on there that may help you.

Hello!
I am with SP for just a little over than a month now. I lost 9 pounds in the first 3-4 weeks and was really glad about it. Now, I am stuck at the same weight since the past week and a half.
Does that happen to you to? Please share your comments and experience.
Can a plateau happen so early in the loosing weight process? How long at the same weight is considered as a plateau?
I still do my training (and even more than during the first weeks), and I also track all my food and respect my goals...
It is so frustrating! For now, I'm still motivated, but I don't know for how long if the scale doesn't go down soon.
