Hello Sparkers!

How many of you are planning on joining the SP 2012 Bootcamp Challenge (link above)? I decided to join and I hope many of you will also. This can help us start the New Year fresh and on the right track. How much fun it would be if we can do it together.

A new week, A new day, A new start. Make today count! Every little step counts. Do not give up. If you are still struggling with weight do not throw in the towel no matter how hard it seems. It will take time, Yes!, but if you give up it will take longer and you'll be at more risk of getting ill because of obesity. One day at a time make a change because you are worth it and you deserve to be healthy. You can do it! You're not alone in this journey.

Unfortunately, the member activity in our team has decline that leads me to believe a lot of members have given up. I hope not!

If you're still around I hope that you are doing everything on your part to get healthier. If you do not make up your mind to work hard and make changes, no one can do it for you. Believe me I struggle every day but I am yet to throw in the towel. Let's do this together!

The weekend is here! I don't know about all of you but for me I struggle the most on the weekends with my water intake. I barely drink any. I forget! I really need to work on that this weekend. What are you sparkers doing this weekend to stay focused and have a productive weekend?

I've realized that all teams have a feature now or maybe it's been there for a while but I just noticed it. I set myself up to win this December, in spite of the holidays. But unfortunately I am now sick and I feel I should take a few days off working out. I'm determined to get right back to it when I can. And even though my appetite is weird with this cold, I will eat right. I threw a crockpot chicken stew together, a Spark Recipe, only I wish I could smell it! Resting is giving me time to Spark, so that should keep my motivation strong!

Sorry I'm late checking in, I had to be at work at 6:30am. My boss called in with a migrane headache, she came in at 8:30am. I also have to be head cook tomorrow, be in at 6:30 again and work till 3:00. YIKES! When its not one thing it is another. Had car trouble on my way to the YMCA, it died. Had to have it pushed home. Still managed to break a sweat with Richard Simmons Disco Sweat and feeling EXHAUSTED!

LADYBUD2 do not feel defeated. There are a lot of reasons why you could have gained 2 lbs. Maybe it's muscle, maybe its that time of the month, maybe you didn't drink enough water this week, maybe your scale if not accurate...... Do not let the scale define who you are and control your emotions. It's hard but you have to be in control of your thoughts and no matter what keep pushig through. Some weeks will be better than others but just keep your eyes on the goal, stay focused and KEEP PUSHING THROUGH, no matter what a scale says. Hugs!

Not much to say. I weighed myself this morning and I gained 2 pounds emoticon . So right now I feel defeated. I didn't exercise this morning like I always do, if I feel up to it I will go to the gym after work. I hate this feeling!!!!! (Sat. is my official weigh in day)

Last week was hectic for me worrying about things, didn't get to exercise because of it. Was and still am a bit under the weather with a cold, monthly friend which disables me for a few days, had to go to ER about my eye...................... Didn't get to work out at all BUT I was good with my eating BUT I did not drink enough water all week.

Had a good and tiring weekend. Was at a women's retreat and yesterday got to take a trip down to IN to see Courtney and Marci again and meet other BL 11 contestants, the 3 finalist, Olivia, Hannah and Irene and Alex from extreme weightloss program who also happens to be Courtney's Love. All I have to say is what a bunch of awesome people who just want to give back and pay it forward. I'll be writing a blog soon with pictures. I love for all of you to read it and share my experience with you. These experiences I've been having lately have helped me get pumped up and believe that YES I CAN!

Still under the weather which sucks (excuse my french) because I have not been able to work out so its a setback and makes me feel like I have to start over when I have skipped 2 days and I have been a whole week without working out. Over the weekend I had wedding/bday parties and than a cold now. I am feeling yucky.

Can't wait to get back into my BREAK A SWEAT MODE!
I hope my fellow sparkers are BREAKING A SWEAT. We can do this! It's worth it team. Just do it!

Hello Sparkers!

How are we doing this Tuesday morning? Are you making November productive? Remember there is a warrior inside of you waiting to be unleashed. It is all up to you, no one can do this for you. You have to get up and get moving, exercise, bring that heart rate up, sweat, sweat and sweat some more. You have to stop yourself from taking that zip of pop, from eating that piece of cake, from going into the drive-thru of KFC or BK. You have to drink your water, whether you like it or not you have to tough it up and drink it because it is necessary.

How about we get it together and JUST DO IT! ONE CHOICE AT A TIME, ONE MEAL AT A TIME, ONE WALK AT A TIME, ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!

Hello Team!

Today hitting the YMCA in a few with the hopes to put in 1 1/2 hours and than come home and get ready to go see Coach Nicole. Maybe I'll get some pictures I can post on a blog.

Oh MaryBeth I remember when my daughter was a baby she did not sleep at all at night, she cried and screamed and cried because of colics. Plus I was young and had no idea what I was doing. lol

Enjoy the event Yesi.
There is nothing more special than holding a little babe in your arms. Ava is doing well but still not giving her mommy much sleep through the night. I'm so glad my husband went with me today to visit. He was really good with her. Not at all like he was with the other two grandchildren but maybe its because he is closer to our our daughter than he is our son. I have a tough time motivating my husband to do things - if he had his way he would probably just hang out at home all the time - oh yes, of course he would get away on his two hunting week excursions though!

I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend. I am beat and can really use that extra hour tonight. Tomorrow I will have the opportunity to meet SP Coach Nicole. She's going to be in Chicago for an event and I am planning on attending. Thinking of some good questions to ask if I get the chance to talk with her.

I got through the interview yesterday. It is hard to be put on the spot to answer scenario questions. Might not know until next Friday what the results are.
I was thrilled to see that I got 100% on an assignment I did. We had to make up a Short Proposal. Being as I am a musical person, I had proposed a lunch hour music program for the College. Next project is to create a brochure based on my proposal and after that we have to do a power point presentation. I do have my work cut out for me! But am loving the challenge.

Thanks for the prayers. Today I wrote a test in my morning class - got 80% which is an A. My fellow classmate that rides with me to school got 100% - she was so surprised - good for her - made her feel so good! I am happy with the mark I got - I kinda blanked out on the short answer questions. The afternoon class on professionalism covered resumes and interviews. Perfect timing - now I will be better prepared for the questions that come up in my interview. Sounds like I will have some competition as there are interviews all day. Mine is at 2:30 pm so please be thinking of me. Thanks.

Going to the gym right after work, not going home at all. After the workout I need to go to the grocery store, I haven't been since last Sunday. I was too tired to do it on Sunday after coming home from camping and yesterday I had to work overtime.

GOLDDUSTTWIN I pray all went well and hubby is at home having a speedy recovery. Hospitals drain me.

Quenneville- Babies grow up so fast enjoy them as much as you can. I miss my teenagers being babies all the time.
