YES! emoticon If it is raining & storming I don't garden, if the temp & humidity are high I garden early or late in the evening, if the sky is green I go to the basement, if there is snow on the ground I leave the gardens alone! emoticon

I plant according to the almanac. They are so helpful and I know what to plant when.

I garden according to signs. I have a Ramon's Brownie Calendar, and I plant seeds only when the signs are right for above ground crops if they are above ground crops. I plant below ground crops only when the sign is good for below ground crops wether they are seeds or plants or potato eyes.
I have done this all my life. When I was little my Dad planted some potatoes and didn't pay attention to the sign he planted them under. He had beautiful potato vines, lots of flowers and very very few potatoes.
I help out in a green house and the lady I work for will sometimes plant seeds when the sign is not right, sometimes they don't even come up. The last time they didn't come up I checked the day she planted them and the calendar said all seeds planted now will tend to rot. She has started asking about the signs and even got a calendar.
My mom's family has planted this way for generations with great results.
