I'm interested to hear if any solution has been found for the armadillos....we have them in Missouri too. When it's very hot/dry out they really get into my flower beds because they have been watered and there are lots of grubs there! We mostly have a cat issue....we have a neighbor that hoards them. Last Summer we finally had to call the Sheriff out to get her to get rid of them as they had destroyed all my flowers/flower beds (not to mention the smell when it gets into the 90's with 90+ humidity). They "live trapped" 38 cats and removed....but there are still more that just keep multiplying!

Not yet, i will look into that, thanks so much!

Last night I covered the hole, poured urine around it, ammonia too diluted in water. Also sprinkled cayenne pepper in the dirt.

Tonight I got a trap, just need to figure out how it work.

They are in my parents yard too, but they own a .22 and are minus one this week. emoticon

Oh my goodness, I would be frustrated too. Have you tried "liquid fence"?

My Aunt who lives near Houston tried it and had some success.

Keep us posted on this....

I have had it with these destructive dillos. They have dug a large hole next to our foundation, it is deep and goes under the house no telling how deep.

They dig up the yard all night.

I need tips on your tested methods of removal, I do not have the heart to kill them and will not put toxic chemicals on my yard to get rid of their dinners.

Is there any hope?
