I try to take 5 and do something I enjoy, like reading or knitting or crocheting.
God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.
The thing that stresses me out I believe the most, is when the weather keeps me in. I have physical linitations and afraid of falling.
I sing either to myself or aloud, hymns that God lays on my heart and mind.
Also, sometimes I turn to hobbies in addition.
If the weather is that it's snowing. I take pictures, print them out, turn them into scrapebook pages.
"All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose."
Someone suggested that we do a post that talks about how we deal with stress so here it is. :)
-Going to the gym and working out helps me a lot. It's a good way to pick up energy and lift spirits. If you have the wii fit, I suggest the strength training exercises.
- listening to up beat, fun music helps as well.
- The other thing I do is watch my favorite tv shows. It just helps me relax because I am focused on the show and not anything else.
If all of that fails, I try to remember to live in the present because we don't really know what tomorrow holds or if we're going to even be here so I just tell myself to enjoy the time that I have NOW!! I always have to remind myself of that because I know none of us stress ourselves out on purpose.
