I don't envy you all. Working for the public taught me how not to be. Relax and have them take a number. What are they going to do--fire you. You are the only one there. Play some soothing music and take your breaks and lunch.
Depression is the impression left by fear. Be willing to fight the fear. Conquer it with love.

It is only 5 am here andI don't need to be up for another 1 1/2 hours, but I am so nervous and stressed about having to go to work that I can't sleep. I workfor the State, which, needless to say, is a mess right now. I have less than 3 years until I retire, but I honestly don't know how much more I can take - my stomach hurts and my hands are literally shaking. Once I get there I will be a little better, but I get tiredof dealing with rude people who complain all day, the "clicks", and feeling I just don;t belong. The people I hired in with and who I enjoyed working with are gone ( they have retired), and due to the economy, have notbeen replaced, placing more stress on those left to get even more done.
Just had to vent, so thanks for listening!
