Tonight I set up another group. I have a lot knowlede around 'Wellness Recovery Action Plans', The Strengths Model, and many other models that can aide in a persons recovery from the journey of mental unwellness. I have been there, still am and have my own Recovery Action Plan I use regularly and update it as I go along. I have a mono-phobia of mice (thats the hardest one), depression, anxiety disorder and have what is called a diagnosis of 'Bipolar', all of which I live through every day. Which is why when something happens to me I loose sleep, get triggered by inanimate objects, become depressed and maintain my 'Bipolar' in whatever means it takes to retain my wellness. I also am a registered mental health nurse so have the knowledge from both ends. I am letting you all know this because there are times when se go through things that impact on our lives, then we need to work on a plan to get well and or remain well. This is a big thing to us all and people who know me know that I am passionate about Recovery. So I thought that with my knowledge I may be able to help people on their journey to wellness and or maintain recovery. My saying is "Recovery is non-negotiable", we live in recovery and stay there, we just get a few wobblies from time to time. So I really want to invite you to this team if you are in need of some extra support. I will post my links to all the sites that I have in my folder. I will also put you onto sites that you can download plans to work on, and maybe look at what may be some of the triggers that set us on a wobbly road. Like I said earlier we are always in recovery. Again I invite you to this team.
"May the road you journey be yours", Joyce.
