When it comes to panic attacks or anxiety pretty much anything can happen and is believable.
I only came close to a full blown panic attack once. I was fortunate enough to get a hold of my therapist on the phone and she helped me prevent it from it getting worse and also helped be continue on to a meeting I thought I wouldn't be able to go to.
Anxiety is another matter for me. It seems to always be there even if a small 1. I have taken medication for a long time. I mostly take it to help me sleep now. I rarely need one during the day but have it if I can't get things under control. I have to be pretty stressed out to have my anxiety cause me to take medication during the day.
I don't like the thought of taking medication for it or the medication I take for my depression. Learning self soothe and self help techniques is great but if medication is necessary it beats hospital visits. I also know many people who have taken medication for awhile and have then tapered off and are doing well.
SDSMALLX3, Hopefully you have a Dr. or therapist who can help you with any decision you make regarding medication. It can be temporary for many people.
