I take an anti anxiety daily and one as needed for panic attacks.

I take an anti depressant, and two medications for anxiety besides and also have a medication that I can take as needed for additional anxiety problems so think that it is normal for a person to take a medication as needed. My girlfriend also has an anxiety medication that she takes as needed. Hope that helps.

A lot of the anxiety medications are interchangable with the depressant medications. I have taken taken medications that are have or can be used for both.

I am not being nosey but I was just curious if people take anti-depressants for their anxiety or anti-anxiety drugs. The reason I was curious is that my mother's doctor prescribed some medication that when she is feeling anxious she takes it. My dr prescribed anti-depressant medication that she said will help the anxiety. I was thinking about it and I was wondering if there is any difference.
