I don't post often here, and I'm not sure how many of you know me. Just wanted to let you all know though that I will be undergoing open heart surgery tomorrow. So for starters, I won't be around Spark for a while - not until they let me move my arms & ribs enough so I can type on my phone or my laptop :-)
The keypoint though is that I've been a motivator for fitness while here on SP. And while I'm one of the fittest people I know, apparently I am not as healthy as I am fit. So while my heart muscles (and other muscles) are strong and my fitness level high, my health is not where it should be thanks to one nasty blocked artery.
So, I leave you with this thought: If you've been working at being fit, and like what you see on the scale and on the outside, don't forget to check your insides too. "Looking Fit" is not necessarily the same as "Being Healthy."
You can read more about my saga in my blogs, which I have been writing quite frequently of late.
I will you all good fitness AND health. And hope to be back soon.
