Hi. I'm glad you are noticing a difference with the paxil. I'm thinking that you will in time your body will adapt to the medication and it will be easier to wake up. One thing you might try is taking it about 30 minutes to an hour earlier than you have been. I have found that helps me with some of the meds I take that cause drowsiness. Just an idea.
Hope you have a great weekend. Cynthia

Thank you, Carol, for your comment. I actually slept a whole lot better last night. I still had a hard time waking up but I went ahead and got up and cleaned my house top to bottom, that helped a whole lot. The Paxel seems to help, even though it is probably too early to notice, I don't seem to be on edge like I usually am.

Last night I started on Paxel. I guess the anxiety I was feeling about taking Paxel played a huge part in not being able to sleep good. I tossed and turned until about 2a.m. and then I went into the best sleep ever, but it was for too short of a time and a little too deep, now I am having a hard time waking up. I sure hope this isn't going to be the norm. I know it hasn't even been 24 hours. So I need to be patent.
