Monika and some for Galadriel too!

I'll be praying that whatever is wrong that it will be something treatable and nothing serious. I have a kitty and a dog and they are like children to me. It always makes me anxious and sad when they don't feel good.

I don't know about where you live, but here there is a vet that provides services at a lower cost and does NOT skimp on the service. You might want to check to see if such services are in your area. I understand you probably love your vet, so it's just a thought. Another thought is to ask the vet if he/she will make payment arrangements.

We had a dog that had an allergic to fleas and found a mild mix of Dawn dish detergent and water helped.
I hope you get things taken care of I know how stressful this can be. The weightloss is probably from being uncomfortable from the fleas.

I hope you get things worked out with your doctor too!

OK, I took Galadriel to the vet today, they said she has fleas so we are treating that as well as the skin problem she has spent $132 on that...They also want to do a blood test to find out whats causing the weight loss and a few other things, that is going to cost another $300 dollars...I have an appointment for 2 weeks from now to take care of that...I hope what we did today will help her feel better...Galadriel did well at the vets office...she loved both the vet and the nurse, she wouldnt leave them alone...of course she loves anyone who gives her treats an attention..haha...I was surprised that she let them give her the injections to help her itchy skin...wow...well that is what happened today...it went well, now I have to figure out how to pay for the rest of the work...sigh...thanks everyone for the support and prayers...big warm angel hugs.
