I eat when I'm hungry.

Though I think my current weight has made me lose my appetite.

I also hate planning food. Planning food makes me not eat. So trying to think of a well-balanced snack will often make me walk away from the snack all together.

.....
My positives:

My skin looks better.
My PMDD anxiety is down.
I do have a little more energy.
I have more optimism.
I feel like I'm proactive.
I think I feel more room in the thigh of my pants.

are you eating enough calories to balance out the exercise? I know that was a big problem for me--I was exercising a lot but not eating enough. Apparently you need to eat to lose weight, haha. I'm not sure if that helps but just like you said--think of all the positive things exercise has already done for you, whether the scale moves or not!

Ba'ah

As I feared, I gained 1/2 lb. That is better than previous weeks - though I believe that to have been water.

I will try to remind myself I'm on a journey & think of all the other things exercising is bringing into my life.

I really do not have a poor diet. I just do not understand why after 4 weeks I have not lost an ounce. I missed one day thus far & it was due to illness. On my non-cardio days I still do yoga, so I am getting exercise every single day.

* I know my tracker says .5 lbs lost, but the week before I started sparkspeople I had weighed a lb less (so in essence I'm 0.5 lbs heavier than 12/26), I had started my exercise a week before I found sparkspeople.

I have the same problem--the scale is one of my biggest fears and it makes my anxiety higher than normal. lately when I've been stepping on I just keep thinking "this is not the end, you are still on the journey". It helps a little.

Do you just beat yourself up when you do not live up to your expectations? I know this is a common trait among those who suffer with anxieties.

I use the Wii Fitness Coach & once a week the only way to access your worksouts is by entering in your new weight, measurements, etc.

Of course I could just lie, another anxiety inducer ... lying, LOL ... but I am curious too so I will weigh myself.

Tomorrow is my weigh-in. Are there any survival tips???
