I got into the immediate study. I'm excited. I went to Amazon to read a bit more about the workbook. I like the blog posts from the author, he does seem genuin & thoughtful in his writing. I'm getting pretty excited to receive the workbook now.
I've never heard of ACT either. Cognitive, but not ACT. I'll be checking this out. A study not involving drugs ... now that is something I may try.
Sounded very interesting. I signed up. What could it hurt? It says you can quit at any time. Personally I feel this obligation to complete the study will help keep me motivated to work through the book. I like that a workbook is willing to survey itself to see if its effects long-term.
This sounds very interesting. I have never heard of ACT before. Thank you for sharing this. I will look further into it.

It sounds a lot like a book I'm working through called 'The agoraphobia workbook : a comprehensive program to end your fear of symptom attacks' / by Pollard, C. Alec. See if your library has it. It is hard working through these feelings, false beliefs BUT I'm finding when I do I do better the next time. I'm actually driving a few more places now.
