I haven't really had an attack requiring first aid. But when I have had an attack in public inside like a store or mall, I usually leave quickly, just get outside where there is space, I have even went into the freezer section of the grocery store and stuck my head in, because the cold crisp air works pretty good for me and it looks like you are shopping.
So I went to kings island yesterday and ended up having an anxiety attack, ok so more like 3 rolled into each other but still. The first aid team would not listen to my friends who know how to calm me down!! The one jerk just sat there staring at me. I don't know what works for you guys but for me if I am where a first aid type place is if you get me oxygen and turn on full blast I will snap out of it pretty quickly. They refused to give me oxygen because my oxygen level was fine. I was so frustrated!! Then to make matters worse I was finally calming down (after the second one) and then they say lets get you to the first aid center to cool off so they bring a STRETCHER out!!!! and of course that sent me into the 3rd one because I was not ready for that no warning or anything that I was going to be strapped down! Once in the first aid building I was only checked on once it was awful! If you guys ever go there I would start praying now you have better experience... by the way I am going again saturday and scared out of my mind that I will have to have first aid come again!
So tell your awful first aid stories when dealing with an attack!
