I've been doing this lately in times of anxiety, and especially when a panic attack is coming on. It has been helping me so much!
Just this morning I got a panic attack. I took 2 mg Ativan but even that wasn't helping. Finally I broke out my Qigong DVD, and it totally helped!
I usually try to use Qigong in place of my meds, but I was tired this morning and didn't think of it right away.
I also do sitting meditations with a CD that work well, too, because they are "active" meditations.
Just wanted to share what's working for me! :)
