I weighed myself again on Monday, and after a few weeks of my scale being okay, it was obviously reading low on Monday. No way I was that much down!

Something is still wonky with my scales. I have new batteries, but the thing is not weighing me in as much as I know I weight, according to the scales at the doctor's office.

140 stable weight, I stay between 140 and 136 and as cold as it is I want a little extra on me for warmth. I can take off 5 pounds in the spring just working outside. As long as I don't go over 140 I am fine. Love Spark people and pass it on.

Gained 4 pounds back but that is in the line of where I want to stay 136. to 140 is a good weight for me start getting to thin if I go below that. Love Spark people.

Back up to 140 but that is okay because it is colder the a freezer and need extra warmth. As long as I can still wear my size 8 cloths comfortably I will not worry. Don't get me wrong I am not going to gain more but float between 136 and 140. 5' 7 1/4 " so that is not bad. Have a good week and love Spark people.

ChattiGirl - at 5'7" 140 may be your best weight range and that may be what is going on. You might try just concentrating on finding a fitness routine you can stick with and/ or make a goal to 'tone-up' rather than lose weight and see what happens. Are you taking measurements?

The number on the scale shouldn't be the only standard for what is your best range.

140.5 sorry to say. With my height I am trying to loose 5 pounds but I don't think it is for my body. What my calerie intake is even if I eat at the lower end I don't loose. I wanted my weight to be 135 to 140 so I could float and not get to 150. I will keep trying. Smile. I am 5' 7" 1/4 what do you think.

Aww. dont let it get you down. It happens. I just started a stronger dose of Chemo and it was getting me down because it is hard to loose weight on some of the meds but maybe we just need tolook at it as feeling healthier right now instead of loosing weight. I hope you get off med leave soon! Keep Smiling!

Well this could be good or bad news depending on the way I want to feel about it. I have been on medical leave for the past 7 weeks and have not been able to exercise (doctor's orders). This said, I knew I was going to gain weight and was only hoping that it would be much. Well, I have confirmed it and I have gained 6 pounds...yuck. As I said before, I could let this get me down or I can look positively at it and think at least it wasn't more than that. I choose to think positive and get back into my exercise regime and lose those pounds and then some! Yay for me!

I expect to pass through this life but once. If, therefore, there can be any kindness I can show, or any good thing that I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now as I shall not pass this way again.

I dont really have a scale but my mom and sister have one. I have decided thought that I need to only weigh myself on one instead of two different scales. The yucky part is that when I was weighed to weeks ago I was 176. Today I weighed myself at my moms and I was 180. I really need to crack down on things. I have been sick though so it might help once i start to get up and moving again. :0(

5.2 lbs. in the past 2 wks. Just got over the Mardi Gras temptations! I was off the wagon 2 weeks ago, but I think I'm back on track now. Total loss since Jan. 5, -12.4 lbs.
I'm doing the Weight Watchers program. Support is a mainstay with my lifestyle.
Thats why I LOVE SparkPeople so much!!!! emoticon

I went up to 192 it is a wonder I didn't go higher I've been on a binge and am trying to work out my problems with food. Not good!

I've been at 145 for the last 3 weeks...absolutely no change. I guess I've got to exercise more.

Weight this a.m. - 115. Here's a weird one. Sat evening I weighed myself, 112#. Sunday a.m. I got up, used the restroom, showered and weighed. Didn't eat or drink my coffee. I was 115. How did I gain 3# overnight? Same scale. Got rid of some water, didn't add any... no difference in what I was wearing...
In case you wonder, I'm not obsessing - it just took me by surprise. How is it possible for something like that to happen?

This was not a good week.... but you will have those. I only lost. .4 pounds. I know I got to kick in more excerise and alot more water!

It looks like I lost 2.8 lbs this week.

I am happy with that considering I haven't been feeling good last week and I haven't worked out since last Wednesday.

It looks like I actually gained .6 of a pound this week. I am not surprised because my exercising this week was not good at all. I am now more determined to lose my 2 pounds this week!

I am at 287.6 right now.

I have readjusted my weight ticker for the first time since September. I'm starting off at 160 and will be working my way to the 150 - 145 range.

I also dusted off the Wii Fit and worked out until my knee gave out on me.

Well I didn't lose any weight this week BUT I also didn't gain any. I really need to work on upping my cardio time in order to get over this plateau. Good luck everyone!

Way to go sunny
Well I Am starting to ex.. got to go easy ,I had a heart attack in Sept.
I'm up to 209.8
But I'm ready to get going.... For Jan.09
20 min treadmill in the morning and 20 min of power walking tape 3 times a week
Keep my cals at 1,200 a day
sign in everyday at sparkspeople and every Monday here..

This time next year,I will be glad I didn't QUIT today!

I think we need to check in on everyone's progress this year with weight loss and projects you are doing. I think on Mondays we should start a sticking topic and do a weekly weight in. I know some people might want to do it bi weekly which is fine too. Whatever is best for you. I think it is important to log the progress, so I am personally using my sparkpage to log it every monday.
