MBTEPP,

I saw that, too! Sad. :(

very cute, except for the 100# weight. Average size: from 55 to 75 pounds. So if Boogie really is a 100#, I doubt he'd be able to do a 1/2!!

Love how people inflate the weight of their dogs, makes them feel manly and tough emoticon

He just wanted to copy Dozer from the Maryland Half Marathon. I ran about a half mile with Dozer.

My favorite part, aside from how fast the dog ran it (faster than a couple I've run), was that they gave him a finisher's medal. :)

Too funny! I ran a half trail run this spring where dogs were allowed, but it was too hot to bring my pooch. Need to find one during a cooler time of year, or a shorter race. Love that dog's name, and glad he's getting neutered, even if he isn't!

It would be funnier except that dogs jumping into races are not unusual. Here's one from just two years ago that sounds almost identical except this dog's name was Dozer:

I saw that story earlier today. I howled. They even gave the lab a finishing medal. What a riot. A must read!
