My favorite part, aside from how fast the dog ran it (faster than a couple I've run), was that they gave him a finisher's medal. :)

Too funny! I ran a half trail run this spring where dogs were allowed, but it was too hot to bring my pooch. Need to find one during a cooler time of year, or a shorter race. Love that dog's name, and glad he's getting neutered, even if he isn't!

It would be funnier except that dogs jumping into races are not unusual. Here's one from just two years ago that sounds almost identical except this dog's name was Dozer:
