Timothy, do you ice it or use that KT tape to help at all? I hate taking pills and want to figure out how to strengthen the tendon so it doesn't flare up when I'm running. I ate a few Motrin yesterday but maybe I'll grab some Alieve today. Going to see the doc in a few minutes so hopefully she'll have some advice other than "stay off it" LoL

Anyone ever had a case of Peroneal Tendinitis? I'm thinking that's what I have managed to do to myself over training last week. I found some info on the net and set an appt for the doc but wondering if anyone has had this type of injury and how long you rested before re-engaging in your training program? Sharp pain shooting from my ankle (kind of behind it near my foot) up into my shin and calf muscle that was slow onset after about 2 minutes of running this morning. I had to make it back to my car and by the time I got there it was hurting. I have a decent pain tolerance so when I say it hurt...it HURT LIKE A MO FO. Any advice is welcome as I'm sitting here with my ice pack.
