Edamame is yummy! You just peel the shell and eat it raw. or you can sauté with olive oil and salt or spices and suck the flavor off before getting to the bean. Kinda like you do South sunflower seeds. Yum!

All good suggestions. Anyone ever use Edamame? Good source of protein but wonder if anyone has tried it. Not real sure how to eat it. I have heard of people eating it frozen but I don't know. I like Cottage Cheese also in addition to some of the suggestions below. Cold chicken breast too.

String cheese is good, and nuts. I also will eat just half Clif bar which is about 4 or 5 grams of protein for 120 calories. And I do eat Greek yogurt for breakfast most every day. These are all fairly easy to fit into a healthy calorie range. Hope you find something that works for you!
Actually, there is nothing wrong with fat at all. It is excessive protein that is more likely a problem as your body will turn it into sugar which can spike insulin levels too much. I like greek yogurt but always eat the full-fat variety and often add nuts to it. Birgit
I need some suggestions for a healthy protein snack (preferably something natural and not processed). I sometimes struggle with getting enough protein into my daily diet and would love to have a "go to" protein snack to fill in the gaps. I love almonds and peanut butter, but they're both so fatty. Any suggestions?
