Ok, this isn't a race I signed up for (which I need to do), but, yesterday, I actually ran on the treadmill for 3 miles (not stopping for any breaks) at 6.6 pace (9:05 min mile!). That is huge for me. I felt so awesome the whole day. I couldn't stop bragging to my DH and kids. I've been running on the treadmill to try to up my speed and it's working. Now, I'm hoping to get outside on Saturday and see how well I do. Fingers crossed that I don't disappoint myself!!
