Great job everyone!

Yesterday I set a PR for a 5K at 28:46 the week before I ran a 29:10. I thought I would be much slower this week after running 12.5 on Saturday but I felt good!

It's 50 and sunny here today (southern Indiana)! To celebrate I ran 7.3 miles (my furthest to date) at a great pace. It's amazing how much a little sun can motivate you!

I've been reading back over the posts. Everyone is doing great. It's making me want to get out there and do my best.

You can not change yesterday - it's done.
You can only dream of tomorrow.
The only day you can change is today.
What are you going to do today to reach your goals of tomorrow?

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it GREAT

Did a 9-mile training run yesterday, finishing just after dark (we had headlamps with us just in case) and as it started to rain. Perfect timing!

I finished my first ever 1/2 marathon today! (Through San Francisco's beautiful Golden Gate Park and along the Pacific Ocean.) Two years ago, I remember being in awe of a friend who ran one and thinking I could never do the same. A year ago, I tried training for one but gave up from exhaustion and nervousness that I couldn't do it. But now I can finally say it!! I am a Half Marathoner!!

Here's to a fit, fun and fantastic 2013, for all of us! emoticon
