I went to my GP for the pain and she sent me to a PT who found the tear. It was small but he said small or not it is a major injury. I have not yet asked him on the thoughts of what races I can tackle when.
Actually my gut says just focus on full recovery and on the HM in September. But I really wish I could do it.
This being my first injury (and hopefully last) I was humbled that even a little bit of pain can turn into, a MAJOR pain that affected even my ability to walk. In the end I learned A LOT and have been given tools to improve my running. I can see the positives in this.
