I set a goal for myself in March to complete a HM before the end of the year; and on November 18th, I DID IT!! And I totally kicked butt!! My time goal was 3 hours; I completed it in 2:24:11!!! I already have 2 more lined up, the Biggest Loser Walk/Run Half Marathon in Panama City Beach and the Gasparilla Half Marathon in Tampa. I am so proud of myself for setting the goal and following through.

Took 15 min off my time. My time for my HM in September was 3:15... I finished the HM in Cleveland and did it in 2:59

Short of finishing my first full, that was the happiest running moment ever...

I did some running yesterday and I feel great. I will be running a 10K on Thursday! I just know that I will do Great. Maybe they should call a 10K a Quarter Marathon?

Mine is little but I'm proud for sticking with my training plan and getting in my 5 mile run yesterday morning AND doing my recovery walk today. I always skip the recovery days and I finally didn't!

I had lots of fun today at the "Run Your Can Off". Not only did I volunteer, but I was able to run 13.3 miles too, all for a great cause! It's my favorite event in November! I really like that all of us probably stuffed the food shelf and, at the same time getting some running in and having a "party", all at the same time! Woo-hoo!!!

Completed my 5th half marathon today!

Holly/Texas. Time Zone: CST; Don't do anything today you can't maintain for the rest of your life; Studies show a mere 11 minutes of weight training 3 times a week is enough to reduce your body fat and raise your metabolism.

I know this isn't about running, but my biggest woo-hoo moment this Fall was needing to use a bathroom while on the road today. I stopped at a McDonalds to use one and walked right out the door without buying a thing. The smell of french fries was fantastic and it is one of my favorite fast foods, but when I start eating them, I find it difficult to just have a small amount. I would never have done this a few years ago. I would have just given into temptation and bought a Supersize meal without a second thought. I am proud that I do not have to count anything from McDonalds in my nutrition tracker today!

Did my first outdoor run in the snow.....okay, it was only a little bit of flurries, mixed with rain, but it was on a path at night with a headlamp in 35ish degree weather! Quite an accomplishment for me. Made it for 50-55 mins too! WOOHOO!!! Winter, here I come!
