Get rid of 30 pounds
10 pounds gone - Buy a bikini - DONE!
20 pounds gone - Buy slinky cocktail dress
30 pounds gone - Buy size 4 pants

Just finished my 14th (I think) 1/2 Marathon and beat my last PB (on this same course) by a whopping 10 minutes!!

Goals -

Get rid of 30 pounds

Since I DO enjoy reading about other people's successes, I'll share my own: today I ran my second half-marathon and beat my previous time by 35 minutes. Today's time: 2:09:34.

Hi All,

I am not very active on this team, but I am a member and could not contain my joy. Today I completed my third half marathon this year and beat my PR by 5 minutes!! I am very stoked. I usually walk, but this time I did a walk-jog and felt really good. I am becoming addicted and I like it! emoticon

Congrats to those who also had a Woo Hoo moment! emoticon

Woo-Hoo! Congrats to all who have recently completed their HMs and to those about to!

I just ran my first race ever yesterday - the Octoberfest Half-Marathon in Peru, NY and it was awesome. My feet are a wreck today but given where they carried me, I figure it's OK.Thank goodness my brain didn't let me in on what was going on down there until after I had finished! LOL! I was a bit slower than my goal pace of 12 min/mile (finished with an average pace of 14 min/mile which was OK with me.

My primary goal was to complete.

And I did.

And I am very proud, if I do say so myself!

congrats to Ladyrino!! That's terrific. Here's my Woo Hoo: ran a 5K trail run today in preparation for an upcoming HM and ran my first sub-30 5K: 26:51. I was also the oldest and third fastest woman on the course.
