Robert - that is really cool. I think you'll love it! I took part in a triathalon last fall, although only as the runner on a relay team, but even with that level of involvement I can tell you that the Tri-community is a great bunch of folks and very supportive and encouraging. My teammates and I had a really great experience and are looking forward to doing more relays. Heck, if I could swim more than, oh 15 feet, I might attempt one myself!

Enjoy the challenge and the experience. I'm sure you'll do terrific!

I wanted to share this with the team since this team is my first real "Spark home" for me and are basically family in a sense. I have embarked on a huge undertaking and am really excited to be training for a Half Ironman triathlon. My passion for endurance sports started with the half marathon and just took off from there.

The race that I am training for is the REV3 70.3 in Wisconsin Dells, August 11th, 2013
consisting of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run

wanted to say thanks to all of my friends who have been such an encouragement to me along the way.
