I totally agree with the others. You sound like you are ready. if you have your mileage base from your training program, then frankly I think you have what you need to finish and I wouldnt stress. I would rest up. you would be amazed what a relaxed spirit and a fresh set of legs can do... remember job#1 in any race is to finish with a smile on your face. enjoy your event, you have earned it.
I agree with Rhonda. You are more trained than you realize and missing a couple of runs will not make a huge difference. Run a few miles as you feel you can this week just to keep your body tuned up. If you think you're getting sick, make sure to drink fluids and get plenty of sleep. You might want to start taking Zycam now which may help kick out cold faster (it works for me).

No need to stress. You will do fine. The best thing you can do for your body is to recover from this cold. Personally, if it was me, I would rest and on Mon run 3-4 miles and then on Wed 4-5 miles. You have trained and you are ready!

My race is one week from today. I missed 2 runs this past week because I was feeling lousy, and I had planned on 8 tomorrow and two 3 mile runs this week, one Monday and one Wednesday, then Thursday and Friday off to rest for the race. So I'm freaking out because of those 2 runs I missed and now I'm starting to feel even worse. (A cold maybe?) Any advice on what to do this week? Thanks.
