Right now I'm using a Hal Higdon's plan but I've modified it to fit my schedule. It's going well so far! But I'm only 1/2 way there.

If you have a smart phone you might want to download the app "Smart Coach".. and it is free! You tell it how often you run, the race distance and the date of the event and it gives you a training plan.

I used to like Hal Higdon best because I thought you get the most benefit for the fewest miles (and therefore fewest injuries). Now I would say no plan is best and just go outside and run as much as it's fun. emoticon

I have run several 1/2 marathons, but it's been awhile and I want to jump back in and run a strong one.

What is your favorite training plan? Why? I generally run 5 times a week with a long run on Saturday. I try to do speed work on Mondays and hill work on wednesdays.

Advice? Any plans worth paying money for? Any links?
