It sounds to me like you may possibly be over-hydrating. Do you sweat a lot? I am a super heavy sweater and I don't drink that much at all. Before I run I may drink 4 to 8 oz. Then I average probably a couple oz every 3 miles or so? I just drink water as well.

It doesn't sound like you are so over hydrated that it is dangerous. But you may play around with the amounts of how much you are drinking and see if that helps. Good luck!

I just pee a lot. And I only drink water. I don't like sports drinks.

Not that I want you to get into TMI, but what kind of bathroom trips are these? Are you urinating more frequently? Is it possible that you're over-hydrated? Are you drinking pure water on your long runs or are you drinking a sports drink?

On long run days I get a water bottle and a half down before the run. Then I take in about a half a water bottle every two miles. Is this enough? Too much? I just end up peeing every half hour after the run.

After my marathon i did that too. My LDR's before that I had not had that problem. I think as long as you are eating and hydrating you are ok.

I usually have to go as soon as I stop! Depending on how long the run is, my system is always a little wacky. It's important to practice your nutritional/liquid intake on those runs too so you are ready for race day.

I don't need to do that. How much are you hydrating during you run? I bring 20 ounces, and sometimes refill if there's an opportunity.

I hear you. It's not every half hour for me, but my system is definitely thrown for a loop and I go ALOT more for the rest of the day. It's "normal" for me:)

After my long runs I need to go to the bathroom every half hour for the rest of the day. Is this normal?
